Job Description

Bustle is seeking a remote, part-time TV Writer to contribute both short-form service articles as well as longer interviews and features, with a focus on reality TV. Writers should have extensive knowledge of pop culture, strong news judgment and voice, and the ability to pitch timely, original content around TV news, trends, and zeitgeisty episodes. Demonstrated experience in interviewing talent and writing reported features and essays is a plus. Writers should be willing and available for weekly live coverage of _The Bachelor _franchise.

Responsibilities

  • Closely follow TV news and trends, and pitch relevant stories
  • Contribute live coverage for _The Bachelor _and other shows as needed
  • Report and write interviews and features

Requirements

  • Voracious appetite for reality TV and pop culture in general
  • A strong voice and innovative ideas
  • Excellent research skills
  • 2+ years reporting/writing experience
  • Availability to work remotely at least 3 days a week
